Yesterday I gave coptic book binding a try, it was a lot of fun! I took a half used/junked sketch pad and used the back (cut in half) for the covers, and covered them in fabric with paper glued to the inside side. I took out the unused pages and turned those into ‘signatures’ (the bundles of papers). I used normal brown embroidery floss for sewing it all together, and I am excited to draw in it! I made a bunch of mistakes with it, but I like it and will do better next time for sure.
